A perfect fusion of light and harmonious aesthetics!
Hietasaaren Gård House D at the Housing Fair is a warm yet modern home, where every lighting solution is designed to support the flow of daily life and highlight the beauty of the spaces. Valotehdas had the honor of implementing the entire home's lighting design and installation in collaboration with the builders – the result is an ensemble where light is as important an interior design element as materials and forms.
In these spaces, LED light does much more than just illuminate:
- Staircase LED lighting: Indirect LED strips in the railing and under the steps create stylish, safe pathway lighting that functions as both a practical and atmospheric solution. The staircase features 9.6W/m 24V COB LED strip light in 4000K shade, installed in MINI8 LED profile.
- Kitchen and living room: Profile lights and subtly integrated LED track lighting provide even, glare-free task lighting and allow the direction of spotlights to be changed as needed. The combination of indirect and accent lighting makes the space versatile – equally suitable for family dinners and evening gatherings. The kitchen and living room feature 1-phase track lights in gray and ENOLA LED track lights.
- High hallway: 8W SUNNY LED downlights emphasize the height and architectural lines of the space, creating a soft, depth-enhancing light.
- Bathrooms: Light hides within the structures, making cabinets and mirrors appear to float. Soft indirect light makes morning routines more pleasant and evening rituals relaxing. The bathrooms use 9.6W/m 24V CRI90 4000K NANO IP65 LED strip light and MINI8 LED profile, SIIPI14-IN LED profile above the mirror cabinet, and in the soap niche, LAATTA-UPPO12 180-degree LED profile.
- Walk-in closet: LED strips inside shelves and cabinets make everyday life easier and turn getting dressed into a moment of luxury. The LED strip light is a 15W/m 24V CRI90 4000K COB strip and the profile is a MINI8 LED profile.
In this home, lighting is not just a finishing touch – it is an essential part of the architecture and interior design. Light guides the eye, highlights the beauty of materials, and creates just the right atmosphere for different situations in the home.
🔎 House D is the second of our locations that you can visit on-site at the Oulu Housing Fair. Also in Villa Suoja, all indirect lighting and LED strip lighting on worktops and in the sauna have been implemented with our LED products. In addition, Valotehdas lighting solutions are also featured in Hiesaaren Gård houses A and C, photos of which will be published later.
