Warranty

All of our products have at least 2 years of warranty, up to 6 years on LED tapes. We only choose high quality, safe and durable products in our range.

The warranty period begins with the date of purchase of the product. The warranty period is 2-5 years depending on the product, mentioned in product information. If the buyer suspects the defect is due to the product of the luminous factory, the buyer must notify the luminous factory. We primarily provide technical support to solve the problem. If the problem is not solved by technical support, appropriate measures will be taken in accordance with the warranty conditions.

The warranty only covers those LED lamps, lamps, profiles and power supplies that meet the following conditions:

  • The operating conditions follow the information in the products and their packaging and the power grid standards in general in Finland, unless otherwise stated in the operating instructions.
  • The environmental temperature will never exceed the operating temperature range of -40 ° C to +60 ° C, with the exception of the pool/sauna LED lamps.
  • The product is used in a luminaire with at least 10 mm air around the body of the products.
  • The warranty is only valid if the LED products for dimmer use are controlled by the designer designed for use.
  • This warranty is only valid if, for example, LED products designed for 12V voltage are controlled by a standard voltage converter designed for LED or 12V DC, etc.
  • The warranty does not reimburse the labor costs for installation or removal of the products and the warranty reimbursement may not be higher than the price paid for the product. The products have a product warranty that covers the replacement of the defective product with a new similar or responds to the unrelated product. If the warranty has been removed from the product range, the Light Factory will supply the replacement for the product in its range or nearest replacement product. If the original product is no longer available, the replacement product may, in some respects, differ from the original. However, the replacement product cannot significantly differ from the original product. In the event of a warranty, these warranty conditions are not applicable and the buyer cannot resort to other information or documentations. No external body is entitled to change, modify or extend the guarantee of the light factory under any circumstances.
  • This warranty is only valid when the product is wired and properly installed in accordance with the electrical values, and under environmental conditions provided in IEC standards or other documents provided in the product.
  • The product must be installed in a place where the relative humidity does not exceed the conditions corresponding to the IP classification indicated to the product under any circumstances. If the product is not known or defined as the IP rating, it is assumed to be IP20.
  • The warranty does not apply to damage or dysfunction caused by natural, abuse, or use of a applicable standard, code or manual, including non-restricted those included in the latest safety, industrial and/or electrical standards in the area concerned. The warranty will lapse if changes have been made to the product.
  • The light factory is not responsible for the power supply conditions, including feed spikes, overvoltage/undervoltage, and throbbing power control systems outside the defined limits of the products, or which are defined by the power supply standards (eg EN 50160).

Restriction

Lumicomp Oy shall not be liable for any indirect or direct or immediate damage caused by any order, delivery or product or any of the above, except for the mandatory provision in the Consumer Protection Act or other compelling law, otherwise specified.
