Sauna LED Lighting

In Finland, sauna is everyday life, and so is sauna lighting. Good sauna lighting is soft, warm and indirect: it brings out the wood, keeps the steps safe and never glares in your eyes.

Made for sauna conditions

Ordinary LED strips are not designed for sauna heat. Our sauna LED strips are rated to 100–125 °C and fully sealed against moisture. Install the driver outside the hot room, and use an IP67 model if it sits in the washroom.

Where to place the light

  • Under the benches: a warm 2700K line that lights the floor and steps.
  • Ceiling or backrest: indirect light in a heat-resistant profile.
  • Avoid placing strips directly above the stove.

Our sauna LED kits include strip, profile and driver for 2, 3 or 5 m, also available as TRIAC-dimmable versions.

Kestääkö LED-nauha saunan lämmön?

Tavallinen LED-nauha ei kestä. Saunaan valitaan erityinen saunanauha: lauteiden alle 100 °C ja katonrajaan 125 °C kestävä malli.

Mihin LED-valot saunassa asennetaan?

Lauteiden alle, selkänojan taakse ja katonrajaan profiiliin. Ei kiukaan yläpuolelle eikä alle 50 cm etäisyydelle kiukaasta.

Mihin muuntaja sijoitetaan?

Aina saunan ulkopuolelle, esimerkiksi pukuhuoneeseen tai välikattoon.

Voiko saunan valoja himmentää?

Kyllä, TRIAC-himmennettävällä muuntajalla seinähimmentimen kautta tai langattomalla RF-himmentimellä.

Mikä värilämpötila saunaan?

Lämmin valkoinen 2700 K on suosituin. Kylmä valo koetaan saunassa usein epämiellyttäväksi.
