KAARI12 LED profile is available with several cover options. In addition to the low-profile C diffuser, there is also a curved cover, the D diffuser, which leaves only a beautiful illuminated arc visible. Multiple mounting methods, direct or side-emitting. This flexible profile can also be used to create unique curved pendant luminaires with suspension cables.

Flexible LED profile

Flexible aluminium profile in three colour finishes, exceptionally versatile. In addition to straight installation, the profile can be bent into an arc and installed as a pendant luminaire, either straight or curved. The profile fits LED strips up to 12 mm wide. When using the flat C diffuser, there is approximately 3.9 mm clearance for the LED strip; with the curved D diffuser there is more space, up to 8.5 mm, which means LED dots are not visible when using, for example, LED strips with at least 240 LED/m or dotless COB LED strips. With the flat C diffuser, LED dots are always visible through the cover (except when using dotless COB LED strips); with the curved D diffuser they are completely hidden when using high-density strips such as 240 LED/m.

The minimum bending radius for the profile is 500 mm (i.e. 1 m diameter), but we recommend a slightly larger bending radius. When bending tightly, the profile must be secured, for example with screws through the base to keep it in place. You can read more about installation in this illustrated installation guide.

This profile can also be used, for example, as a straight ceiling profile in very low spaces with the D diffuser. The result is exceptionally beautiful and clean, as the illuminated D diffuser covers almost the entire profile, leaving only about a millimetre of the profile visible at the edges.

Dimensions with diffusers

When using the clickable, flat C diffuser, the luminaire dimensions are width 20 mm and height 5.7 mm, with approximately 3.9 mm clearance for the LED strip before the cover. For uniform light without LED dots, use a dotless COB LED strip. For a beautiful installation, we recommend our 9.6W/m 24V dotless COB LED strip.

When using the curved D diffuser, the width is 20 mm and height with cover is 12.3 mm, with approximately 8 mm clearance for the LED strip between profile and cover - uniform light when using LED strips with min. 120 LED/m, but we recommend 240 LED/m strips so that LED dots are not visible even from the side. This curved LED profile can also use both covers together, i.e. C diffuser and D diffuser stacked, as the C diffuser fits under the curved D diffuser if you want to maximise diffuser thickness and effect.

DELIVERY METHODS

We ship orders every business day, so the estimated delivery time is 1-4 business days for all products in stock. We specialize in safely delivering even 2 m long profiles, well packaged, and you can choose any delivery method for aluminum profiles as well.

• Matkahuolto Lähellä parcels and Schenker pickup point parcels in 2-4 business days.
• Matkahuolto bus parcels usually arrive in 1-2 business days.
• Matkahuolto Home parcel (delivered to your door). The recipient is called within 1-2 business days of pickup to agree on a delivery time. Delivery until 9 PM in larger cities, until 2 PM elsewhere.
• Pickup from our store in Nummela at Ajurintie on weekdays 8 AM-4 PM, see our opening hours.
• Parcels delivered to business addresses usually arrive in 1-2 business days. (DB Schenker business parcel and Posti Express 16)

We deliver orders according to your choice either via DB Schenker, meaning the order can be picked up from the nearest R-kioski or K-market, or as a Matkahuolto Lähellä parcel. You can also choose Posti home delivery for your products. Businesses can additionally choose delivery directly to their business address.

You will see the shipping costs at checkout before finalizing your order. Our shipping logistics are handled by Shipit, and when your order is shipped, you will receive a tracking code by email that lets you follow your shipment with the carrier.

If a product is lost or damaged during delivery, this must be reported to the online store without delay, and in any case within 14 days. Parcels damaged in transit must be reported to the carrier responsible for the delivery without delay.

BACKORDERS

If the products to be delivered are made to order, meaning they are not in stock at the time of ordering and the order is delivered as a backorder, the delivery time is usually around 1-3 weeks. You can see the stock status of each product on the product pages and in the shopping cart. Products in stock can also be purchased in our store.

CANCELLATION AND RETURN POLICY – FREE 30-DAY EXCHANGES AND RETURNS

The customer has the right to cancel their order without giving a reason within 30 days of receiving the last product in the order. The right of cancellation also applies to undelivered orders. A direct link to the cancellation form can be found in the order confirmation, in the online store footer and via this link.

The customer has the right to exchange or return some or all of the products in the order. Products to be returned or exchanged must be in their original packaging and in resalable condition.

If you wish to return or exchange products, please first contact our customer service and ask for return instructions – we will provide you with a return code for the return. Please include your name, contact details and bank account number with the return for a possible refund.

If a returned product has been used contrary to the buyer's statutory duty of care, is damaged or is not in resalable condition, the company has the right to charge a depreciation fee up to the full price of the product, including return costs.

If the purchase is cancelled, the goods must be returned without delay and no later than 14 days after submitting the cancellation notice to our return address listed below.

When returning a delivered order, include your name and contact details, and to be safe, your bank account number for the refund. We will refund your payment within 14 days of receiving the cancellation notice. If the products are not in their original condition, we reserve the right to reduce the refunded amount according to the depreciation of the product.

Depreciation

The amount of depreciation is determined based on a general assessment carried out by our product experts. Our experts have the best knowledge of the value and sales potential of the products. The depreciation of each return is assessed individually based on the condition of the product and any defects.

The following examples are indicative deductions and depend on the general assessment and depreciation:

– If the returned product has been used or handled so that it shows marks or dirt, 50% of the product's value will be refunded. – If the product is returned in unsellable condition, the depreciation is 100% including return costs. – Missing accessories: 25% of the order value is deducted from the refund – Damaged packaging: 25% of the order value is deducted from the refund – Missing packaging: 25% of the order value is deducted from the refund
